What it is
Mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) shows how concentrated hemoglobin is inside each red blood cell — the 'density' of oxygen-carrying protein per cell.
Why it matters
MCHC complements MCV (cell size) and MCH (hemoglobin per cell). Together they describe the quality and quantity of your oxygen transport system.
